Thomas Hertig
(Senior Associate) was admitted to the Hamburg bar in 2018. Since March 2024 he has been admitted as specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law (Fachanwalt für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht). Thomas specializes in the fields of M&A transactions, corporate law and corporate restructuring. He is an expert in the law of commercial partnerships, in particular the liability of limited partners and has broad forensic experience. He also advises national and international clients on general commercial and contract law matters. Thomas attended law school in Hamburg, Germany. Prior to being admitted to the bar, he inter alia trained at Siemens AG, Erlangen, at the German Foreign Office (Consulate General Atlanta, Georgia, USA) and at the Hamburg office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. Thomas speaks German and English.
