SJPP has advised investors led by new managing shareholder Torge Ruge on the acquisition of the business of ITO Yarn & Design GmbH.
The management buy-in (MBI), which was an asset deal, comprises the entire business operations of ITO Yarn & Design GmbH with the exception of real estate. ITO Yarn is specialized in the import and worldwide trade of special yarns from Japan. The yarns are characterized by exceptional manufacturing processes, extraordinary material compositions and an unusual range and variety of colors. The SJPP team consisted of Dr. Edzard Schmidt-Jortzig and Dr. Astrid Fleisch.
